Scott McMahon

A 30-year hotel industry veteran, Scott plays a key role in identifying owners and investors throughout the country that can benefit from OTH’s track record of successful hotel management. Scott coordinates third party management agreements, owner relations, and assists owners and lenders on hotel sales, site selection, financing, and new build ground up developments.

Prior to joining OTH, Scott served as executive vice president of development for Marshall Hotels & Resorts. During his 23-year tenure Scott negotiated and executed over 300 management agreements for the firm, including numerous hotels in the top MSA markets on the east coast. Under his leadership, the company grew from a small regional operator of 15 hotels to close to 100 hotels under management representing brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG as well as independent boutique hotels and resorts. The company was recognized as one of the top independent third-party management companies in the US, overseeing the management of hotels with a combined real estate value of over 2 billion in real estate value before the company was sold in 2022.

Scott earned a bachelor of science degree at the University of Maryland where he was a member of the lacrosse team. He resides in Philadelphia with his wife Megan, kids Dylan and Jake, and their dogs Chloe and Cooper.
