Marlise Ricker

As Vice President of Government Affairs, Marlise Ricker leads OTH Hotels & Resorts’ strategic growth within the government, military, and national accounts sectors. With a hospitality career spanning more than three decades, Marlise brings deep expertise in navigating government procurement, understanding agency needs, and opening this unique revenue channel across the portfolio.

Marlise began her hotel career as a Sales Coordinator and quickly moved into sales, contributing to the opening of two brand-new hotels and supporting two successful conversions. Over the years, she has become known for her warm, personal approach and her ability to cut through the red tape that government planners face—helping hotels confidently serve this unique market.

At OTH, Marlise leads efforts to grow government production, equip sales teams with a deeper understanding of government planners, identify emerging market opportunities, and strategically position hotels for year-round success, including off-season demand.

Outside of work, Marlise and her husband of 33 years are passionate Labrador Retriever breeders—raising American-style Labs in all three colors. She is also a lifelong Disney enthusiast who loves experiencing the magic through the eyes of her five grandchildren.
