Tom Egan

Tom Eganis the Founder and sole principal of Capital Legal Advisors PLLC, a DC-based consulting firm. Prior to establishing Capital Legal Advisors in 2024, Tom was a principal in the DC office of Baker McKenzie LLP where he practiced corporate and securities law for over 40 years while serving in a variety of leadership roles with the office and global firm. Tom is a graduate of the University of Virginia, Washington & Lee University Law School and the LLM program at Georgetown University Law Center. Tom serves on the boards of directors of EveryMind and Wilderness Learning and Leadership, two nonprofits serving the Washington, DC metropolitan community. Tom is married with three grown children and is a native Washingtonian.
